The resident has the right to receive, in writing, a receipt for payments made and/or a written statement of account that details any expenses, charges and payments made upon request.

As said before, transparency in financial dealings with residents is key to an ethical operation.  Therefore, the resident rights statement must include that the resident can receive a receipt for payments and/or a statement-of-account that records financial transactions between the organization and the resident – especially if the resident were to request one.
