If a property does not meet the state of Ohio’s definition of recovery housing, if it does not meet the standards of certification, it may not fulfill the need for housing and the recovery continuum of care.

It is important to be clear about what recovery house means and what is offered, so residents, consumers and communities can be adequately informed.
