A major concern for recovery housing operators is, what to do when someone is not following the Code of Conduct.

Under the social model of recovery, it is about interpersonal relationships. When a resident does not uphold the Code of Conduct, it does not necessarily mean the resident has a relapse or is an emergency.  For these circumstances, remember the social model of recovery.  It is not about controlling resident behavior but empowering them to achieve their goals.
