Creating a Resident Code of Conduct for a Recovery House > Resident Code of Conduct: Trusted Community within the House

NARR Core Principle: Create a Trusted Community within the House

What should residents agree to in order to allow everyone to get along in the house better?

  1. Residents and staff understand and agree on the appropriate boundaries between staff and other residents with regards to personal or romantic relationships.
  2. Residents agree to treat others with respect – including agreeing to respect individuals from other races, cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, or gender identities.
  3. Residents and staff all agree to not borrow nor lend money or items of large value from one another.
