Resident Applications and Evaluation Documents
Once you have your forms and process drafted, consider how you will keep track of all of the documentation.
Most recovery housing operators create a separate file for each resident that contains their application, any associated records and documentation of the operator’s decision regarding the resident’s application. Keeping these records can demonstrate that you are following your internal processes and the standards for quality.
Check with your funding partners to determine how long you are required to keep such documents. Different funding sources have different requirements. Ensure that all documents are kept for the appropriate amount of time.
