In recovery housing, staff and leadership play a crucial role in creating a safe and supportive environment for residents’ recovery journey.
A clear and comprehensive code of conduct ensures that the organization’s personnel uphold ethical standards, maintain professionalism and prioritize residents’ well-being at all times.
Each recovery home is required to have such a code of conduct, and all staff and leaders are required to sign it and maintain it.
–
Anyone who has actual or perceived authority over residents in recovery homes is considered a leader, whether or not they are paid by the organization.
