The Bathrooms

There needs to be one toilet, sink and shower for every six individuals living in the home. Any staff who live in the home and who will be using the bathroom count towards this total. Children living in the home also count towards this total. All toilets, sinks and showers should be in working condition.

The bathroom must be clean – including the tub or shower, the sink, and the toilet. The tub and shower need to have an appropriate door, shower curtain or other appropriate cover. There must be appropriate supplies for residents to wash their hands at the bathroom sink.

The bathroom must be finished with appropriate walls, have a proper door for privacy, and windows should have suitable covers for privacy.
