Grievances in recovery housing are never easy. Under the social model, you create a culture in your recovery home where residents get to know one another, care about one another and they are better able to handle small issues among themselves. Residents understand that it is their responsibility to look out for one another. Creating a grievance policy is an important part of helping residents to understand these rights and responsibilities.
