House Code of Conduct Development Question 2

Recovery Housing Institute > House Code of Conduct > House Code of Conduct Development Question 2

In addition to maintaining a drug and alcohol free living environment, recovery homes also actively promote recovery. Recovery is not only about the absence of specific substances, it is about building connection and support! When residents live in a recovery home, they are agreeing to engage in an environment that actively promotes recovery, for example by attending meetings, participating in activities, engaging in employment or education opportunities and more. Take the opportunity in the journal entry below to think of more ways that residents can agree to actively promote recovery in the house.
