All recovery homes must have a policy about what will happen if a screening for illicit substances reveals substance use.

It is important that an organization’s illicit drug and alcohol screening policy be very clear that if a screening reveals use of substances, then the recovery housing program’s Recurrence of Use policy will be followed.
