Recurrence of Use: NARR Standards

Recurrence of Use in Recovery Housing > Recurrence of Use: NARR Standards

Addressing Recurrence of Use with the resident individually.

When a recurrence of use occurs with a resident, the situation requires the recovery home to not only consider the safety and well-being of the person who has experienced the Recurrence of Use, but also the safety and wellbeing of the other residents living in the home.

NARR standards require that such situations are addressed immediately and appropriately.  NARR does not require that residents who experience a recurrence of use be asked to leave or evicted from the property.  BUT, the quality standards do require that the incident be recorded and addressed.
