Recurrence of Use: Resident with Children

Recurrence of Use in Recovery Housing > Recurrence of Use: Resident with Children

Some recovery homes allow children to live with their parents in the home.  In these homes, there must be careful consideration and planning for the children of the parents should a Recurrence of Use happen to the parent.

The recovery home must appropriately plan with each individual family what will happen if a Recurrence of Use occurs to ensure the health, safety and well-being of the child or children if their parent experiences a disruption in their recovery.
