Level II homes have at least one staff member who monitors the recovery environment within the home. To be accepted to live in a Level II home, residents must have 14-27 days of continuous recovery from use of illicit substances.
The home must provide a documented plan for how the resident is going to be provided with additional supports to ensure resident’s recovery success, including community or house meetings, peer supports (such as the “buddy systems”) and where outside mutual support groups and clinical services are available and encouraged.
