Ethical Boundaries: “Difficult” or “Mean” Resident

Know that many residents do not have a grasp on boundaries and see them as us just being “difficult” or “mean.”

During the resident’s move-in or, even better, at application for residency, make sure to highlight your organization’s rules, ethics and boundaries, and talk about conduct within the house and with staff.
