ER Preparedness: Code of Conduct


You can add specific elements to the resident Code of Conduct that are specifically designed to help prevent emergencies or unsafe situations.   The following elements below should be considered to be added to the Code of Conduct to help prevent emergencies or unsafe situations.

  • Residents agree not to tamper with safety equipment

  • Residents agree to refrain from using items that are potentially hazardous, such as candles, space heaters

  • Residents agree to use and store cooking equipment and food appropriately

  • Residents agree to only smoke in designated outdoor areas and dispose of cigarette trash appropriately

  • Residents agree to store items appropriately
