Residents living together in recovery housing will become very close. Over time, they may forget that there may be risks to sharing personal items. Remind residents moving in, as well as existing residents from time to time, that they should avoid sharing personal items like toiletries, eating utensils and similar items.

You can also provide each resident with a caddy for their personal toiletries, so they do not accidentally use someone else’s items in the bathroom.
